Leon is the Director of the Beit Midrash at Kolot. He received semicha from R’ David Hartman ז״ל  and his doctorate from Bar Ilan University. His most recent book, The Going: A Meditation on Jewish Law won a 2018 National Jewish Book Award, and his Your Walking on the Way [Hebrew] was published by Bar Ilan University Press. Noam grew up in Chicago and moved to Israel in 2011. After serving in the army, he fulfilled a dream to live on kibbutz and work in the fields. He now lives in Jerusalem with his wife Liraz, and daughter Geffen. When not taking care of Geffen, Noam works at the Jewish Federations of North America. He’s also unpaid commissioner of Jerusalem’s first 16-inch softball community.

Rabbi Joel Levy is Rosh Yeshiva of the Conservative Yeshiva in Jerusalem where he has studied and taught for over twenty years. He was the director of NOAM, the UK Masorti Youth Movement and program chair of Limmud Conference before making aliya. He received rabbinic ordination from Rabbi David Hartman in 2000. He has served as the rabbi of Kol Nefesh Masorti, the UK’s first fully egalitarian, traditional synagogue since 2000.
